J-Walks Home

J-Walks are a new innovation created for the Inline Roller Skater currently waiting for the introduction to a vast and profitable market. Where inline roller skates are sold, the J-walks can be sold and possibly at equal market volume.

Consider this volume… and this is just Rollerblade

USA TODAY Reports ’2005′… Rollerblade has worldwide sales at about 2 million skates per year, about $100 million worth, with half the skates sold in the United States, Stonier said.

Now consider this…

If even one quarter of the ‘Rollerblade’ skaters bought the J-Walks, you would have sold 500,000 units. Estimating each unit at a fair retail price, you would total $10 million in sales. Now think of the true volume of sales possible…’Roces’, ‘Ultra Wheels’, ‘Oxygen’, ‘Mission’, ‘Bauer’, ‘K2′…all big name in-line skate Companies… and the list goes on. But it doesn’t stop with just new skate purchases, lets remember the millions of in-line skates previously sold who will now want the J-Walks.

And consider this report…

In ’2009′, the SGMA reported that there were 9.6 million in-line roller skate users in the US. Now if even a quarter of that report purchased the J-Walks, retail sales would exceed $46 million. Interesting… Yes! But a more realistic total may well exceed $100 million in retail sales or more when the J-Walks enter the Global market and grow as the J-Walks catch the markets eye.

A study we conducted revealed that people would wear their inline roller skates more often, for both fun or exercise, if they were able to enter areas like Malls, Variety Stores, etc. and most other areas that normally wouldn’t allow inline roller skates. An area resident stated…”A simple thing like buying a bottle of water at the corner store, No way, not in blades, I make my kid take his skates off to run in”. When told about the J-Walks, he replied with excitement “Where can I get these, they’re exactly what we need!”
